The Government wants to tax this years bonus payments to bankers. The country wants to the bonus payments to be stopped. They brought the banks to the very edge of ruin and BANKRUPTCY and yet in The Independant newspaper one banker is saying:-

"Nobody knows what is going on," said one broker. "The drafting looks like it's been done on the back of a fag packet. Once again, we are left to pick up the mess. We've all had to pay accountants to clarify what the hell is going on. And, in some cases, even they don't have a clue!"

The Government wants to tax this years bonus payments to bankers. These are the bankers who had to be rescued by taxpayers money to the tune of about seven hundred billion pounds. Yes, That's right 700,000,000,000,000. Seven hundred million , million pounds. We the tax payer will be paying the cost of this for years and years.

I read that brokers statement again with disbelief and growing anger.
