Goodbye November - Hello December

This is it folks, the last month of 2009. Soon be the New Year !! A time of reflection, despair and maybe a little hope.Its been a crap year, the death of my brother John, the great ESCC debacle and the continuing slide into dementia of my mother.

I have been sitting here for several minutes waiting to remember the good things that have happened this year and I'm still waiting. . .

This guy raves about Cardiff and is a huge fan of the BBC's Torchwood series and Dr Who. Its the place where "Deadliest catch" is filmed.

Oh I'd just like to say Thanks to the folks at Apple iPhone, I tried to upgrade my iPhone operating system and after 30 minutes it crashed and I then spent 2 1/2 hours recovering it. I lost 200+ podcasts but kept all my photos. it also downloaded 200 emails from my number two email account, the one where all the junk stuff ends up. I had to delete them with a jab of the finger - - 200 times. Thanks guys.

The photo below is taken from my car on a road trip through the Scottish Highlands and Islands, its a disused garage. It became my iPhone wallpaper. I like the grainy pastel colours of the flaky paint.






This is a nearby Eco-Building, it looks great at dusk and has a living roof which can be seen from further up the hill.
