Thursday 8th November 2007
Well the week started poorly with Gout and a distinct desire not to move my left ankle in any way at all. This meant much hardship due to being mostly stuck on the sofa watching watching the one day cricket international. OK Yes I agree it was a hardship but one I had to stoically endure.
The rest of the day was dull and boring, even the office would have been more fun. Still I spent some time chatting on the phone which was great. I can see the benefit of having a bungalow. No steps No pain that's my motto.
Tuesday SB was off so the day lost a bit of its sparkle. It was a busy day in Paradise but hey I like the people. Wednesday and Thursday were a bit of a blur but still had some nice chat and a chuckle. PD went home poorly Wednesday, PD looked like she had 10 doses of flu. She did really well Thursday by coming in, good help, well done.
Water what water
Driving home Thursday evening and it sounds like half of eastern England is about to be flooded under metres of sea water. I know someone who takes a keen sharp eyed interest in this sort of thing. Sandbags at dawn by the sound of it. As I left the office, so the rain left the sky. I was so pleased I wore my sandals today and just my usual tee shirt. Rain is really cold this time of year. And I hate driving at night in heavy rain.
Anyway I am pleased I am more cheerful.
Bye Folks
Simple of Sussex.
