Bad Simple of Sussex

Well I did a bad thing Saturday afternoon. My local CookShop has moved to larger premisis and whilst in the butchers across the villedge crosroads I saw a pile of vouchers for 20% off today only. Well not being one to resist a bargain and having never been round the local CookShop I went in to buy a whisk for Memsahb.

Ok I found the whisk and I also found two wooden spoons, two china double egg cups, one spoon rest, one pair double sided oven cloves, one bamboo chopping board and a cast Iron cooking dish with lid. Best some of these be considered as early christmas presents.

More, more, more

Had to go back to the butcher because I forgot the kidney as in Steak 'n Kidney casserole. Seal the steak & kidney in seasoned flour,soften the chopped onions, place in cast iron caserole disk with tin of chopped tomatoes, beeef or chicken stock,add sliced mushrooms, garlic paste to taste. Heat for 90 minutes at 180C and serve with home made mash potatoes. Serve with just one spoon and enjoy.

The Children

Us "Children" are out for supper tonight to talk about sheltered housing for the aged P. It will be interesting to see what the views are. I wonder how many "yes its a good idea but not close to me" views there will be. No wonder Marks & Spencer man has just moved to south wales. Cant be too far from Gushy as the poor lamb hates driving so much ( yeah right )

So it looks like it is me ( every weekend a visit) needs to watch out and make sure I get every one to do their fair share. I heard a statistic on the radio that soon 25% of the UK population will be over weight and if 50% of the population is of retirement age then the last 25% had better work bloody hard to pay for all the rest.

Quick get a defibrillator

Her hair has gone from thick and bushy to short and Halle Berry like. Short. I was sent some pictures, before during and after. The after picture, it was the start of a facial expression that made my heart stop dead. Dead. Just like that. If I ever got that look from that person then I would want time to stop. Forever. It did'nt help getting the pictures whilst listening to a Bio on Brian Ferry. If I could dance, so long and slow, forever. . . and . . . ever. . . and . . . ever
