Monday, August 13th 2007.

Like most Mondays of to the local supermarket on the way into work to pick the tasty toast supplies for the next few days.

What started as a loaf of bread for a few has now reached White Bread, Brown Bread, Hot Cross Buns, Muffins, Crumpets and the occasional Cherry Scones.

Not forgetting the butter it is a labour of love. Trouble is I sometimes wish I had not started it.

Golfball.

Gb is a very special person. We decided to do something special one afternoon in September. My current thoughts are a lunch in a National Trust property, old oak beams and inglenook fireplaces that sort of thing. Lots of thought on this to come. . .

Jim Cronin

I just saw on TV that Jim Cronin has died earlier this year. I feel quite sad. I really liked watching Monkey World. The primates are so human. One shot show this huge monkey lying on a grass slope, hands behind head knees crossed just like a human. They are nicer than some people I know.

Bye folks
