Today my Father in Law passed away after a short but severe illness. He severed in the Merchant navy then went on to the Army, travelling all over the world.

He served in Germany and Aden, he was an engineer by training and then specialised in bomb disposal. He married and had a son and a daughter. His wife travelled with him and was a crack shot with a hand pistol.

He retired to the West Country and found a new path in life - Antiques and all things old.
